To provide at-risk youth with tuition assistance at community colleges or trade schools.

Students from low and moderate income families confront overwhelming financial
barriers blocking their access to college. The rising cost of tuition and the shifts in
policies and priorities at the federal, state, and institutional levels has resulted in
student aid shortages. With this rising cost of tuition it is estimated that only one in
ten low income students can expect to graduate from college.

Most low income students are less likely to obtain college information due to the lack of knowledge of the information’s existence.  Without the proper guidance they are less likely to enroll. We want to do our part to help protect the best interest of at-risk students against competing priorities, i.e., family, work responsibilities, etc. Our plan is to fund scholarships through selected high schools in the states of Ohio and Indiana and ultimately the nation. The program’s focus is on low income students who have a desire for higher learning but lack the financial capabilities.
